The Ubiquiti PowerBeam 5AC ISO Gen2 (PBE5ACISOGEN2) is a high-gain 5 GHz wireless bridge (PtP/CPE device) designed for long-distance, stable outdoor internet links. It is commonly used to connect two buildings, remote sites, or CCTV networks over distances that standard Wi-Fi cannot reach.
It uses Ubiquiti’s airMAX ac technology, delivering real-world throughput of up to 450+ Mbps with strong signal stability and low latency. The 25 dBi directional dish antenna focuses the signal into a tight beam, allowing reliable point-to-point connections over 15 km or more (line-of-sight dependent). The “ISO” version includes an RF-isolated reflector, which helps reduce noise and interference for a cleaner, more stable link—especially in crowded wireless environments.
The device is powered via 24V passive PoE and includes a single Gigabit Ethernet port, making installation simple with only one cable for both power and data. It also features a dedicated management radio (2.4 GHz) for easier setup and configuration through the airOS interface. Built for outdoor use, it has a rugged, weather-resistant design with strong wind resistance and industrial-grade durability.
